There has a newer version of the Autel Maxidas DS708 software?Ok,you must want to update it right now.Worry about don't know how to operate it ?Worry you may damage it?All right,I will share the operation instructions with you here so you can update it without any worry.
First,please uncompress the package of the update files to your folder.And then place the SD card into your PC.Copy and paste the files of "scan" and "autorun.exe" under the root directory of the SD card.
Second,run the program "manager-pc" on your PC and finish the procedure one step by one step.when there come a program which was called "updatedclient",just run it.Then there will show a new window which will display the update progress,update information,update program and you can choose the disk for update and select the language.
Third,select all the package files and click "update" to download those files ,also,you can just select some of them according to your will.After finish the download,those files will be extracted into your SD card automatically,what you need to do is waiting.
There are buttons of "Page up" and "Page down" so that you can view other options and information.
(Note:You should choose a different SD card by click "Select Disk" if you have another DS708 to update)
Before you install the new program,you need to delete the vehicle files that SD card installed before under the "Installed Programs" menu.
Then the next step--"User Info",you can modify the login password here except the system is still running,or it will show "You can not modify the user's password, as the system are under development currently".
Under the "Option",you can check the website information and software version,also you can find a path for the download files.
This Autel scan tool blows the Snap On and other big name stuff out of the water and it's a fraction of the price. I got to the point that when I needed a scan tool for a diag I would ask to borrow this Autel from the other tech rather than reaching for the shops Snap On Verus or my Matco one. The tool is generally pretty fast at loading codes and PID data although imports do seem to take a little longer.
