After you get the update file,put it to your Micro SD card;before you use the Micro SD card,format it to FAT file format on your computer.Then insert the SD card into the Micre SD card slot,make sure the contacts are facing towards slot and the angled portion of the card is facing down.After the Micro SD card is installed successfully,there will show a small Micro SD card icon at the top of the screen.
Next you need to turn on the Autel Maxivideo MV208,just press the button of "Power" is ok.Then you should press the "UP" button until the update screen pop up,and select "YES" to do the update progress.After the software is updated successfully, restart the Autel Maxivideo MV208 again to finish the update.
When you use the Autel Maxivideo MV208,you may meet some troubles,and here we will say several conditions and help you to solve them.
If the display is on,but it doesn't show the image,you should check if the cable connection is loose,if it is loose,reattach it is ok;if the cable connection is all right,then you should check if the imager head is covered by debris,just clean them and there will show image.
If the LED on the imager head are dim at max brightness,and display changes between monochrome,the color display turns itself off after a short time,then it is telling you the battery is almost out of energy,charge the battery then it wil be ok.And if the Autel Maxivideo MV208 can't be turned on,then you should change the battery.
I got the scanner in today. Overall I am very very happy with the autel md802 vehicle coverage. It does about 90% of what factory scanners do. And for the price its the best bang for the buck. It puts Snap on and others to shame for the cost. It provides many live data streams from the vehicle. I would buy it again.
